Every Scar Tells a Story — Mine Started With Survival
I didn’t start life on a stage, in a boardroom, or behind a coaching desk. I started on the streets—hawking water and buns under the blazing African sun, mixing mortar at construction sites just to survive. My childhood was not colored by fairy tales but by grit, sweat, and sacrifice.
Some people inherit wealth; I inherited resilience.
My school uniforms were worn, faded, and patched countless times, handed down by family friends who had just a little more than we did. But I wore them like armor. Not because they were beautiful, but because they symbolized hope—a stubborn, unwavering hope that my story would not end where it began.
And it hasn’t.
Today, I’m a coach, an author of multiple life-giving books, a playwright, a speaker, an IT service manager, and a licensed HR professional. But none of that happened by chance. It happened because I chose to let my story speak. And not just speak—but heal.
The Turning Point: From Chaos to Calling
Somewhere in the noise of survival, I met Jesus.
Not in a quiet cathedral. Not through religious performance. I found Him in the mess, in the moments when I had no strength left. What I discovered wasn’t just religion—it was relationship. And that changed everything.
I began to see that nothing in my life was an accident. The poverty, the pain, the process—it was all part of a divine setup. God had been writing my story all along, and it was far from over.
He wasn’t just calling me to survive. He was calling me to lead. To coach. To write. To speak. To create.
And most importantly, to heal.
The Power of Story: More Than Just Words
People ask me, “Why storytelling? Why not just coach or teach or write self-help books?”
Because storytelling does what facts and formulas cannot.
Stories have the power to:
- Break walls.
- Build trust.
- Stir the soul.
- Heal hidden wounds.
- Awaken dreams buried by fear and failure.
When I share a story—whether on stage, in print, or through coaching—I’m not just offering information. I’m offering transformation.
How I Use Story to Change Lives
Let me show you how storytelling is not just what I do—it’s how I breathe life into every part of my calling.
1. Through Books That Speak to the Soul
My books are not products; they are pieces of my journey, written to ignite yours.
- “Yes, I Can!” – A war cry against self-doubt. This book reminds readers that potential is not about where you started, but how willing you are to grow.
- “This & That” – A raw, reflective guide filled with practical wisdom for navigating life’s contradictions—hope and hardship, joy and sorrow, faith and frustration.
- “Thoughts Alive” – A collection of soul-stirring thoughts that awaken courage, clarity, and conviction.
Each book is a mirror, helping readers confront their truths and emerge stronger.
2. Through Coaching That Goes Beyond Strategy
As a coach, I’ve helped countless individuals and teams unlock their full potential—but I don’t coach from textbooks. I coach from testimony.
Because I’ve been through fire, I know how to guide others out of it.
My sessions are designed to help you:
- Find clarity in confusion.
- Break mental and emotional limitations.
- Build sustainable action plans rooted in purpose.
- Align your personal growth with your spiritual and professional goals.
I’ve walked this road, and I walk it still. You don’t need another motivational speech—you need someone who gets it, who’s lived it, and who will walk alongside you with grace and grit.
3. Through Drama That Reflects Real Life
As a playwright, I bring the power of transformation to the stage.
My plays are not just entertainment. They are encounters. Every character, every line, every scene is carefully crafted to mirror real struggles, provoke deep reflection, and open hearts to healing.
Theater becomes therapy when truth takes center stage.
People have left my productions not just applauding—but weeping, repenting, forgiving, and healing. That’s the power of storytelling with purpose.
4. Through Thought Leadership in the Professional World Even in corporate spaces, storytelling is my secret weapon.
As an IT service manager and licensed HR practitioner with over a decade of experience, I’ve sat in meetings where systems were failing—but what people really needed was a story. A unifying purpose. A clear vision. A reason to care.
Whether I’m leading change management, solving systemic problems, or developing people strategy, I always bring the human story into the room.
Because systems don’t lead people. Stories do.
This Isn’t Just About Me — It’s About You
If you’ve ever felt like your story is too broken to be useful, I’m living proof that it’s not.
If you’ve ever thought you had to be perfect before you could help others, I’m proof that you don’t.
If you’ve ever wondered whether your voice matters—I’m here to tell you that it does.
You are more than your struggle. You are a message in motion.
And your healing may just begin the moment you allow your story to speak.

Final Word: What Is Your Story Saying?
You don’t have to wait until you’re successful to share your story.
You don’t have to have a platform to make an impact.
You just have to be willing—willing to be vulnerable, willing to be real, and willing to believe that your life has meaning.
I write, coach, and create because I believe every life is a masterpiece in progress.
And the world needs your story—now more than ever.
Let’s tell it.
Let’s heal through it.
Let’s lead with it.
One story.
One session.
One system at a time.
